Epix Inc - Complete camera system solutions
A well respected USA manufacturer of Vision products ,Epix Inc offer a comprehensive range of CMOS camera systems incorporating camera, acquisition board, cabling and software so you have the advantage of buying the complete package from one manufacturer.
Many different types of optical lenses can be optionally included in the system purchased. The products range from low resolution high rate systems to high resolution products so there is likely to be a version to suit your needs.
Since 1999 they have been developing cameras. The first camera was the mvCAM, a smart camera which was available with Windows and Linux operating system. Since then they have managed to expand their portfolio.

In contrast to consumer cameras, industrial cameras are characterized by a high image quality and a greater robustness. Industrial cameras are used in quality controls using image processing or for surveillance tasks.
Seeing beyond the visible
New Imaging Technologies (NIT) offers CMOS and InGaAs imaging sensors and cameras operating over an extraordinary dynamic range of more than 140dB. The sensors are particularly useful for machine vision, automobile and autonomous driving, biometrics, security and surveillance. NIT delivers from large volume production down to small numbers and custom products. Their facility is fully ISO9001 accredited.
Their SWIR or Short-Wave Infrared imaging covers the wavelength range from 900nm to 1700nm. A large number of applications that are difficult or impossible to perform using visible light are made possible, with great results, using short-wave infrared (SWIR) imaging thus enabling the user to "See Beyond the Visible". SWIR is similar to visible light in that photons are reflected or absorbed by an object, providing the strong contrast needed for higher resolution imaging– unlike thermal images, that rely on radiated photons. At NIT, they offer unique SWIR cameras and sensors.

Sentech is a manufacturer of Colour and Monochrome industrial cameras. Sentech have a vast range of analogue and digital cameras. Sentech specializes in the development of advanced digital and OEM cameras for machine vision, industrial, medical, microscope, military and traffic applications. Sentech cameras are available with a wide variety of resolutions and outputs.
C-CAM Technologies are a manufacturer of Colour and Monochrome CMOS cameras with Camera Link and USB2.0 outputs
Panasonic offer cameras with 4K ultra high definition which provides four times the resolution of Full HD, and a horizontal resolution of 1600 TV lines.
Panasonics unique technology refined over many years enables amazing ultra high definition and faithful colour reproduction.
Additionally, it also supports ITC-R BT.2020, making it able to reproduce nearly all colours in the specified colour reproduction range.
TeraSense has developed an original patent-protected technology for making a new generation of semiconductor imaging systems for Terahertz (THz) and sub-THz frequency ranges. TeraSense devices bridge the terahertz gap (0.1 — 1) THz. The heart of the imaging system is a terahertz detector. TeraSense detectors have an advantage with their low cost and ease of fabrication in large quantities in the form of 2D arrays, thanks to compatibility of the technology with mass-production lines of semiconductor industry. The imaging arrays are scalable in a number of pixels.
Uniq manufactures, and markets high resolution, high speed CCD cameras for industrial applications, such as machine vision, automated inspection, night surveillance, car-mounted, traffic control, monitoring, biomedical imaging, non-contact measurement, microscopy, and other scientific applications.
Tucsen is a well-respected manufacturer of high performance microscopy cameras.
Their high-end product range aimed at the ultra-low light applications, from life science (including fluorescence) to astronomy, is the Dhyana family of cooled cameras featuring back-illuminated Scientific CMOS sensors with a super-high Quantum Efficiency, extremely low noise, high dynamic range and wide spectral response. All models offer at least video rate framerates.
All cameras use USB3 interface. The recently revised software is capable and user friendly.
